n
n
n
n
n
nSo,ngo do that, and then come back!
n
n
n
n
n
nI’dnrather actually compliment our mirrors, rather than ourselves! Ournmirrors do a great job of reflecting things for our benefit—andnthere are a lot of different sorts of mirrors used for all sorts ofndifferent tasks, too!

n
n
n
n
n
nGlassnmirrors with metal backing date back to the first century C.E. ornearlier. However, for a good long while only rich people were able to afford goodnmetal-backed glass mirrors. (The silvered-glass mirrors we use todaynwas invented by Justus von Liebig in 1835.)
n
n
n
n
n
nPeoplenalso sought their reflections in highly polished metal or obsidiannmirrors—and, of course, in very still water.
