Jayasuriya has been recalled to Sri Lanka Team

The experienced all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya has been recalled after a year in Sri Lanka Cricket Team and will play Twenty20 and ODI series against England Tour.Jayasuriya will replace Upul Tharanga.

Jayasuriya retired from Test cricket in 2007 and in his Test career he played 110 matches with the average of 40 and scored 6973 runs.He took 98 wickets in addition. In ODI career so far he has played 444 one-day matches in which he scored 13428 runs at an average of 32.

Tillakaratne Dilshan captain and Thilina Kandamby has been declared the vice-captain.

Sri Lankan One-day and T20 Team – Tillakaratne Dilshan (captain), Thilina Kandamby (vice-captain), Sanath Jayasuriya, Dimuth Karunaratne, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Lahiru Thirimanne, Jeevan Mendis, Thisara Perera, Nuwan Kulasekara , Suraj Randiv, Rangana Herath, Lasith Malinga and Dilhara Fernando.
