PUT UP YOUR HANDS! Somebody got a trim. The news that Jason Momoa has shaved his beard is sure to shock the world. Video of the event went viral after it was posted on YouTube, and people were predictably outraged. Using an electric razor, Momoa trims his beard in a remote desert location to say goodbye to the many bearded characters he has played.
To quench our thirst while shaving in the desert, he shows us some canned beverages, which turn out to be water. And just like that, the beard vanishes. He says something encouraging about recycling and avoiding plastic bottles. “I just want to do this to raise awareness about how plastics are ruining our planet, and I think I have a solution,” he said. No need for me to moan about it.
As long as we recycle aluminium, the only thing that can truly help and save our planet is that metal.

Amazing. It’s not the first time that facial hair has been utilised to raise awareness for a good cause; both ‘No Shave November‘ and ‘Movember’ urge men to grow out their facial hair to raise awareness for men’s health. Momoa says, “I’m cutting this beast off, it’s time for a change.”
