nn“ Life’s mostnpersistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’”n– Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

n

nTherenis beauty and wonder in trying to figure out how life, the universe, nand everything works. It’s wonderful to try to make the world a morenbeautiful place, too – whether through planting lupines along thenhighway or through painting murals on public buildings.

n

n
n

n

nButnmaybe a part of every life could also be spent answering Dr. King’snquestion with actions of selfless giving. And I’m thinking of givingnof our time and energy as well as of our money. I’m thinking ofneveryone spending a little bit of their time in the world in anneffort to make it a better place—more just, more kind, happier, nsafer.
