A new thriller is coming soon to theatres and it stars two iconic action men, Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan, but don’t expect them to get along.
Chan, playing a father whose daughter is killed in an explosion, sets a course to bring justice to those who created the tragedy with Brosnan as his main target.

The film tells the story of humble London businessman Quan (Chan), whose long-buried past erupts in a revenge-fueled vendetta when the only person left for him to love — his teenage daughter — is taken from him in a senseless act of politically-motivated terrorism.
In his relentless search for the identity of the terrorists, Quan is forced into a cat-and-mouse conflict with a British government official (Brosnan), whose own past may hold clues to the identities of the elusive killers.
The Foreigner stars Jackie Chan, Pierce Brosnan, Liu Tao, and Katie Leung along with Michael McElhatton and is directed by Martin Campbell.
It is slated for an October 10, 2017 US release with an Irish one to be announced.
