The Islamic State says it is responsible for the attack on the Pakistani embassy in the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, said a statement sent by one of the channels linked to this group on Telegram. in which Islamabad called an attempt to kill its head of mission, who was not injured.
The Islamic State said the attack was carried out by two of its members armed with “medium and sniper weapons” and that it targeted the ambassador and his bodyguards who were there.
The attack injured at least one security guard and caused damage to the building, the group said on Sunday.
