Huawei is coming with a new affordable device. We are talking about the new Honor 6X.

The bad thing about this phone is that it runs an older version of Android, which means that customers will not have the most up to date apps.
As we mentioned, the new Huawei Honor 6X is a cheap version, so customers should understand that the company had to cut some corners. But, customers should also know that this phone comes with two things that Samsung Galaxy S8 doesn’t have.
We are talking about a fast rear-mounted fingerprint reader, and dual rear cameras. As we know, Samsung’s device has a fingerprint reader that is placed to the left of the camera, and has only one camera lens situated on the back.
However, Huawei’s intentions with this new device are simple. The company created the new Honor 6X with a few advanced features, in purpose to be an attraction on the budget-market. Customers will be able to buy the new Huawei Honor 6X at the price of 250 dollars.
However, this phone also has some great competitors on the market, for example the Motorola Moto G5 Plus.
Unfortunately, for the new Huawei Honor 6X, we must say that Motorola’s device is much better than it.
Even if the new Huawei Honor 6X comes with dual rear camera, customers should know that these lenses produce less distinct shots than the Motorola Moto G5 Plus.
So, for approximately the same price, 250 dollars, customers will be able to choose the Motorola Moto G5 Plus. Moreover, Motorola also has a smaller option, called the Moto G5. This device is an affordable option, as well.

Returning back to the new Huawei Honor 6X, we must say that the company declared that customers shouldn’t expect dual-camera image quality as good as on its midrange device, called Honor 8.
Moreover, this new device is not as good as the company’s newest flagship phone, called the P10.
So, the new Huawei Honor 6X comes with 12-megapixel and 2-megapixel lenses, which offer that blues effect in the background like we see on the iPhone 7 Plus.
But, we must say that in every comparison with photos made with the Moto G5 Plus, Motorola’s device also turned out to be the winner.
Under the hood, customers will find a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, accompanied by 2GB or 3GB of RAM, and 16GB or 32GB of storage space. As for the battery, the company added a 2.800mAh removable battery.
Unfortunately, the new Huawei Honor 6X runs Android’s older operating system, the 7.0 Nougat. However, the biggest attractions on the new Honor 6X are the two lenses.
We think that the company maintained its focus only on these two lenses. In the end, we must say that customers will also find a tool that will probably help them to manually adjust depth-of-field.
