HP’s new Envy Curved All-in-One 34

For starters, we must say that this is not the company’s first all-in-one Windows 10 desktop that features a 34-inch curved screen. However, this new model comes with a huge redesigned 2017 shape.

HP managed to make a huge change compared with its older clunky predecessor. This new model comes with an elegant yet practical design, incorporates some atypical features, produces superior sound and delivers solid general-purpose performance.

But, the main thing that people need to know is that all these features are packed into a reasonable price. The new HP Envy Curved All-in-One 34 comes with the same classy design aesthetic that people saw on the smaller Envy AIO 27.

But, they must know that a wider display also demands a bigger base. This fact allowed the company to fit in perks like an audibly better implementation of the Band & Olufsen-tuned sound system and a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad.

For the new Envy Curved All-in-One 34 the customer will have the option of 7th-generation, quad-core Core i5 or i7 processors, a 256GB SSD plus, 2TB HDD, up to 16GB memory and an Nvidia GTX 950M or Radeon RX460 graphics card.

The cheapest configuration starts at the price of 1.720 dollars, but customers will be able to go further to max 2.210 dollars.

This is not such a huge price, considering the fact that there are other competitors on the market that share the exact same price. For example, Dell’s first all-in-one PC, called the XPS 27.

Another good example is the 27-inch iMac that comes at a similar price.

But, people should also know that these two competitors are featuring much better and higher-resolution flat screen displays.

So, at the price of 1.999 dollars, customers will receive a 34-inch display that features a 3.440 x 1.440-pixel resolution, a 2.9GHz Intel Core i7-7700T processor, accompanied by 16GB DDR4 SDRAM 2, 4, an AMD Radeon RX460 GPU with 4GB memory, and 256GB SSD plus 1TB HDD.

As for the connectivity options, we must mention about 802.11ac wireless and Bluetooth 4.2. The new HP Envy Curved All-in-One 34 runs Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

Let’s talk about the display a little bit. The main question here is if wider is better?

Well, the new all-in-one PC comes with a great curved display.

But, here is a tricky part, because a curved display needs to find the balance between its measurements.

More exactly, if there is too much curve then it’s distracting, but if it is too little, then it defeats the purpose of the curve.

With this new model, the company slightly decreased the curve radius and trimmed the bezel significantly. Now, the display looks much bigger and vastly more attractive compared with the previous model.

Of course, the monitor is the first thing that people are seeing at this new model. But, we also must say that the less visible audio system is another huge attraction at this system.

Behind the front mesh, people will see four Band & Olufsen-tuned speakers, which sound amazing. The company also included two passive radiators for enhanced bass.

The result?
Well, the music sounds far more balanced and resonant than on the previous model.
