Moreover, the design must be attractive and suitable for any occasion, but remain as light and thin as it should be. So, it seems that it is a huge balance, and HP managed to create a device like this one.
However, there are a few sacrifices that have to be made in purpose to be thin and light. Today, we are talking about the new HP ZBook Studio G4.
First of all, customers should know that this device is a premium one and packs the latest technologies for scenarios like editing Ultra HD videos and designing buildings. In order to make this possible, HP had to add all the powerful components that are now on the market.
So, we are talking about ultra-fast storage, discrete graphics from Nvidia, lots of memory, and seventh-generation Intel processors. With this type of configuration, we must say that users will be able to make all their designing and editing on their laptops, without being forced to go to their PCs.
The main configuration that people will receive is the one that is powered by a quad-core Intel Xeon E3-1535M v6 processor, accompanied by 3GB of DDr4 memory, Nvidia’s Quadro M1200 discrete mobile graphics chip, and 512GB of storage.
Another important thing to know is that this device has a 15.6-inch screen that features a 3.840 x 2.160-pixel resolution.
This means that this is a 4K display. At first sight, we must say that this new device is very similar with the one that Dell has released. We are talking about the Precision 5520 mobile workstation.
At the moment, we must say that the new HP ZBook Studio G4 is not listed on the company’s website. But, the company has declared that this laptop will be available at the price of 3.500 dollars.
Moreover, there will be a cheaper version that will be available at the price of 3.400 dollars, which isn’t that much of a difference. Moving to the design, we must say that this device comes with a base on a CNC-machined aluminum. Moreover, its body is made out of magnesium that features diamond-cut edges.
The main attraction on this laptop is the fact that it has MIL-STD 810G certification. This means that the new HP ZBook Studio G4 is invulnerable. So, its body is solid enough to withstand accidental drops without hurting the internals.
The company also claims that it has pound on this laptop with a hammer and it hasn’t been harmed. This is a plus against other competitors, for example Dell Precision 5520, which doesn’t appear to have the same feature.
