HP Chromebook 13 vs MacBook Air: Pros, Cons – Is it good for business?

There is something special about this new HP Chromebook 13. This is not a regular Chromebook laptop, because it is more like something between a normal device and an Apple MacBook Air.

The new HP device comes with a slim and sleek aluminum design that almost becomes a rival for the 999 dollars Apple MacBook Air.

The best thing about the new HP Chromebook 13 is that its all-metal, anodized aluminum chassis is more durable, which makes it more attractive than other plastic Chromebooks.

Furthermore, the new HP Chromebook 13 is available at the price of 499 dollars and going up from this point.

Without a doubt that it is more expensive than other Chromebooks on the market, for example the 299 dollars Acer Chromebook 11 and the 149 dollars Hisense Chromebook.

For customers who are interested in browsing the Web, streaming Netflix, checking Facebook or reading email, most Chromebooks are the right choice. But, for customers who will not mind paying extra money for a high-end Chromebook, the new HP laptop will offer faster performance and style.

This new laptop is light enough to comfortably prop up on the lap in bed while watching a favorite movie or show.

We must add that the 13.3-inch screen has great viewing angles, which means that no matter how it’s titled, the image is clearly visible. HP Chromebook 13’s display offers 1.920×1.080-pixel resolution or 3.200×1.800-pixel resolution, depending on how much money customers are willing to spend.

Above the keyboard, users will see a speaker grille that stretches across its entire lengths. We must say that the B&O-branded dual speakers are relatively strong enough to watch a movie, but sound quality is tinny at high volume.

The design is very important, especially for customers who are carrying their laptop every day at work or school. In this case, the laptop’s design has to be thin and thick. As much as users love big screens they should know that sacrifices have to be made for portability.

The new HP Chromebook 13 fits perfectly into the portable 13-inch chapter. Compared with the 13-inch MacBook Air, the new HP Chromebook 13 is also perfect for carrying it every day to work.

Of course, like other 13-inch laptops, the keyboard is very small. So, this means that customers will need some time to get used to it. The best thing about this keyboard is that it is backlit, making it easy to see in dimly lit environments.

HP’s new laptop runs Chrome OS 64 and it has 32GB of internal storage. At the price of 599 dollars, customers will receive an Intel Core m3 processor, accompanied by 4GB of RAM. Moreover, at the price of 819 dollars, the configuration will be made of an Intel Core m5 processor and 8GB of RAM.

Customers will also receive an USB 3.1, two USB-C ports, an SD card reader and a headphone jack. So, in the end, we must say that the new HP Chromebook 13 is better than any other Chromebook model on the market, but the price is also higher.
