Liverpool legend Steve Nicol has called on Jurgen Klopp to sign Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala.
Juventus have reportedly dropped their asking price for Dybala from £105m to £70m with the hope of raising more funds to launch an audacious bid for Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba.
Pogba will cost Juve £150m to resign but, the Bianconeri’s need to sell fringe players like Paulo Dybala for that happen.
Nicol feels Klopp should go for Dybala now that he is available.
“I think Dybala is a fascinating player who could come into this Liverpool side and make a name for himself”, Steve told Talksport.
“He can play in all three positions upfront and even behind the attacker which will be good for Liverpool to give rest to their star players especially Sadio Mane.
“Yeah! he will cost £70m quid.. But he is just 25-years-old with a proven goal record. I will get him if i was Jurgen Klopp”.
Dybala’s stock has nosedived since Cristiano Ronaldo joined the club last season. Why? He has struggled to adjust to the Portuguese playing style and now spends more time on the bench than in the starting lineup.
Strangely, he is the only superstar who struggled to play alongside Lionel Messi with Argentina and Cristiano Ronaldo with Juventus.. Hopefully, he will encounter such problem when paired with Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane.
