The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency reports that the fire has consumed more than 800 hectares of land.
The wildfires have claimed at least 55 lives since Tuesday (8/9).
The Maui National Weather Service said the fires were fueled by drought, strong winds and low humidity levels.
