The Haunting Of Asylum 49 Terrifying Entities

Everybody loves a good scare at Halloween, but visitors to most “haunted houses” know the most frightening things are just actors in monster makeup and spooky special effects. Deep down, we all know that the ghostly inhabitants are fake…except at Asylum 49.

This unassuming former medical facility outside Salt Lake City stands next to a graveyard and is home to a full-contact Halloween haunt with a difference: the ghosts are all too real, and they are very willing to interact with the living. Hundreds of staff members, customers, and ghost hunters have encountered them firsthand over the years.

A nurse by the name of Maria is one of the first people to make their presence known at the Old Tooele Hospital.

She reportedly watches over a spiritual gateway that supposedly exists on the ground.

The psychic medium who went to the location spoke with Maria and confirmed the portal’s existence.

She claims that the gateway has a very strong light that the departed are drawn to and strive to move toward.

Maria warns them, however, that this is not their entrance to a serene eternity, and she points them elsewhere.

The ghost of a patient by the name of Wes is another well-known ghost.

In the latter days of his life, while suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, he wanders about Asylum 49 bewildered and afraid.

Many think that his sickness still affects him after death, which explains why he seldom leaves the room he was given while he was living.

He would only go as far as the hallway outside his room even then.

Wes may appear to be innocent, but the medium who sought to assist him in leaving this world found that a “dark” creature follows him about anytime he is in the corridor.

As a result of their investigation, the Utah Ghost Organization found the ghosts of Richard, Ned, Peter, James, and Jessica, among others.

They either seem to make their presence known or make their voices heard to both visitors and staff.

The ghost of Samuel F. Lee himself is another entity that can be present in Tooele Hospital.

His son Thomas passed away there while he was between the ages of six and eight, and a psychic has indicated that his spirit is connected to that ancient home.

Samuel seldom acknowledges visitors, but his son likes to pull practical jokes on the defenceless.

He may even be spotted in a number of pictures taken close to the house he formerly occupied.

In order to really experience Asylum 49’s actual paranormal side, you may take part in the ghost hunts that are hosted twice a month from January to July.

Simply rid your mind of all unfavourable ideas to stop feeding the paranormal forces connected to the Old Tooele Hospital.
