The answer is:
Turns out, São Tomé and Príncipe is located almost on the Equator, tucked close to Africa, near the nations of Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. Strangely, two other islands that line up with the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe – Bioko and Annobón – belong to the nation of Equatorial Guinea!
