Perfect family! Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are certainly successful in their family of three.
The couple married in November 2017 after five years of dating, and a year later they had a daughter, Genevieve.
“This year has been the best year of my life! It was a frenzy that started with a World Series win and the best wedding weekend when I married my best friend and the love of my life,” Upton said in November 2018. She brooded on Instagram until Genevieve was born in 2016.” Now, to celebrate our first year of love and marriage, We are getting ready to welcome a new member to our family. I look forward to celebrating this life with you. I’m so excited to go on a trip! I love you so! Have a nice year ❤️”
A few days later, another actress and MLB star greeted their happiness. “Genevieve Upton Verlander 💗,” the new mom captioned a black and white close-up of her newborn’s cheek and hand. “11.7.18”.
In the years that followed, Upton and Verlander became accustomed to their roles as parents, where he watched over his little girl, whom he affectionately calls Vivi, as a child.
“[Kate] is the most amazing woman and mother,” said the Houston Astros pitcher, who saw his wife and daughter weekly in March 2019 for us. This is the man I married. always admired her strength.
The athlete went on to praise Upton as a parent, sharing his admiration for the Michigan native’s connection to Vivi.
Verlander said, “But it was amazing to see her interact, to see all the caring and all that it means to be a mother.” We are at that time. “I know it’s not easy for her either, but it brings them very close and it’s really special for me to be a witness to this and be a part of it.”
Upton, for her part, shared her thoughts on motherhood with her daughter in a sweet Mother’s Day download.
In May 2021, Upton wrote on Instagram, “Being a mom is my greatest achievement. I’m so proud to be your mom, Vivi…”
A month later, Verlander shared the same sentiment on Father’s Day.
“Just happened #girldad My biggest win,” Pitcher wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of him and Genevieve hugging on the beach.
