Dell is coming with a new alternative for gamers. And it seems that Alienware will not be the only name at Dell when it comes to gaming devices. Inspiron 15 7000 is a new laptop that supports any PC game.
At the price of 800 dollars, the new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is really incredible. This 15-inch laptop is able to run any game on the market. It is hard to believe, but for under 1000 dollars, gamers will really be able to run any game they want.
At first sight, Dell Inspiron 15 7000 looks like an old notebook, very clunky and with a bad design. But under the hood, this laptop has enough power to run games like Grand Theft Auto V, Fallout 4 or Witcher 3.
But what is the secret and how it is able to run such high-end games?
Well, the secret is definitely Nvidia’s GeForce 960M graphics card, which is the center piece of this laptop. Moreover, this graphics card is only found in computers that cost hundreds of dollars more, but it looks like the new Inspiron also has it.
Even if other laptops, even gaming laptops, have sleeker bodies, this laptop isn’t attractive at all, but there is one reason. Dell has decided to build a new gaming laptop at a lower price, so it was forced to cut a few corners.

The new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 comes with an exterior that is approximately entirely made of black plastic, featuring an attractive red Dell logo on the lid. The trim around the touchpad, the fan vents, the rubber feet and the speaker also feature red colors. To be added that the keyboard deck and the top lid are rubberized, offering a nice feeling.
Another interesting thing is the backlit keyboard, which is very responsive, but a little shallow. As for the touchpad, this piece is not great at all, but probably Dell thinks that for gaming, users will definitely add a mouse.
The 15.6-inch display comes with a 1,920×1,080 resolution and features an anti-glare coating. This feature will cut reflection to a minimum. Now, probably customers might claim that this is a really low resolution for gaming systems, which is true. However, we must add that this resolution matches with Acer V 15 Nitro’s, which turns out to be good.
Talking about resolution, it will be hard for Dell Inspiron 15 7000 to match other high-end gaming laptops on the market. Mostly because many of these expensive devices come with 3K or higher resolution. However, the 1,920×1,080 pixel resolution works well for an entry-level system.
