Paramount Pushes ‘Cloverfield Movie’ Back to 2018
The third installment in the Cloverfield universe, previously known as God Particle, has been pushed back a little over three months.
Variety reports that, instead of opening in theaters on October 27, the J.J. Abrams-produced film will now be released on February 2, 2018. This is the second time the movie has been delayed, as it was originally dated for a February 24, 2017 release.
The story is set in the near future and centers around a team of astronauts on a space station who must fight for survival after making a terrifying discovery.
