British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wants to provide more long-range weapons to Ukraine. It was reported by TASS.
According to an elaborate statement by the British head of government, he made the proposal during a visit to London by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
It is recognised that the purpose of providing such weapons is to disrupt Russia’s ability to attack Ukrainian targets.
Also, more long-range weapons would reduce pressure on Ukrainian borders, the office added.
At the same time, the British government did not call for what it was prepared to offer.
The public news service previously wrote that a scandal erupted in Britain after Sunak’s decision on Ukraine.
Thus, the British Prime Minister refused to increase the country’s defence spending regardless of the Ukraine conflict.
