Brendan Taylor New Captain Of Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe wicketkeeper-batsman Brendan Taylor has been appointed the new captain in the upcoming tri-series against Australian ‘A’ and South Africa ‘A’. Zimbabwe Cricket Board spokesman made the announcement after the meeting.

Brendan Taylor was named captain in place of the all-rounder Elton Chigumbura. 25 years old wicketkeeper-batsman, Taylor has played 118 ODIs so far. He has scored 3 centuries and 21 fifties.

Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Ozias Bvute, said: “We have watched Taylor become mature and experienced player and we fully support his new role.”
