Liverpool to officially sign Andy Lonergan after Alisson’s injury blow

Liverpool will offer a short term deal to former Middlesborough keeper Andy Lonergan who played an important role during their pre-season. 
Lonergan deputized in the absence of Alisson Becker who was on holiday, Simon Mignolet who was set to leave and Kelleher who was injured. 
But with Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher both out injured and Adrain the only fit keeper in Liverpool’s ranks, the Reds will offer the keeper a short term contract believed to 6 months. 
The UEFA Super Cup will require Liverpool to provide two goalkeepers and with none available, Liverpool will have to give Lonergan {a free agent} a contract.
