What could cause someone to seemingly vanish into thin air? There are two approaches people are generally taking to explain them. One approach explains that these individuals must be making mistakes while hiking or had gone out fatally unprepared. The other details strange similarities between cases that don’t make a lot of sense, especially since they repeat. Search dogs don’t find a scent, sensitive thermal imaging helicopters don’t pick up the missing, they go missing from a rural setting even when others are present. When this is the case no sounds are ever heard to indicate something is wrong. Massive searches turn up nothing and then the missing will be found in an area previously search.
