Rashid becomes the first Afghan cricketer to be played in Australia’s domestic T20 league and the second overseas player for Strikers.

The Right-arm leg break bowler had an impressive season in his maiden Indian Premier League for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he claimed 17 wickets.
