Bayern Munich chairman Karl Henz Rummenigge has dismissed Pep Guardiola’s assertion that Bayern haven’t contacted anyone over the possibility of signing Leroy Sane.
Sane is reportedly wanted by Bayern Munich who are willing to pay as high as £100m to sign him. But the attacker is yet to make up his mind if he wants to move to Bayern or stay with City.
Pep Guardiola is fully aware of the interest but has chosen to play down the talks by saying no one has contacted him.
Aggrieved by the Guardiola’s comment, Rummenigge told Bild: “If there is something to announce, then we will do that. But that’s not so far.
“I do not know if Pep Guardiola knows everything that goes on in his club. No idea. Let’s wait and see”.
