nHavingndictators, wars, coups, and “ethnic cleansing” sure doesn’t help!nOf course, the legacy of being colonized and exploited by foreignnpowers doesn’t help, either. A couple of years ago the HumannDevelopment Index ranked the Central African Republic #187 out of 188ncountries in human development (life expectancy, education, andnincome per person).
