Asus Chromebook Flip is Now a 12.5-inch Great Specs Tablet

We are talking about the new Asus Chromebook Flip. This new device is available at the price of 499 dollars and it promises some good features.

Asus has added this price tag in purpose to compete with entry-level Windows laptops on the market. But, this price also offers part of the look and feel of a premium device.

The new Asus Chromebook Flip comes with a metal body construction, amazing screen, backlit keyboard, and a long battery life.

All these features make the new Asus Chromebook Flip a very attractive laptop and a good alternative for other plastic laptops.

However, we must say that the new model is more like an update of the Chromebook Flip, which was released last year and it was considered to be the one of the best chromebooks on the market.

The new Asus Chromebook Flip comes with a great body design, built from aluminum and glass.

This design is a little bit similar with the one found on the silver Apple MacBook Pro, which is available at the price of 1.499 dollars.

This new device also comes with two hinges attached, which will allow users to rotate the screen 360 degrees. Moreover, people will be able to use the new Asus Chromebook Flip in a couple of watching modes, for example Stand, Tablet, or Tent mode.

These three modes will also hide the keyboard in order to give users unobstructed access to the touch screen.

We also must say that the new Asus Chromebook Flip measures 0.53 x 11.96 x .26 inches and weighs approximately 2.42 pounds.

This means that this model is a little bit lighter and smaller than the Acer Chromebook 14, which is available at the price of 285 dollars. People will have no problems using this laptop on a commuter train, couch, or on an airline tray table.

This means that the new Asus Chromebook Flip is very portable and people will be able to use it wherever they want. Talking about the display, we must say that the new Asus Chromebook Flip comes with a 12.5-inch full HD touch screen.

The display is very bright and delivers accurate images, with a wide-angle view that people will be able to share with a few friends.

To be added that the touch sensitivity is really quick and fast enough for most Web games. Another important thing to know is that this laptop runs Chrome OS. The Chrome OS now has a tablet mode which switches into automatically when people will turn the screen beyond 180 degrees.

Moreover, the stereo speakers situated on the left and right side panels will be able to fill a small room. Another great thing about this laptop is that it comes with a full-size backlit keyboard, which is very comfortable to use during extended typing sessions.

Under the hood, people will find 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC flash storage.

People who will want to add more RAM and storage will have to pay 200 to 300 dollars more. There is also a microSD card slot, which will be useful to raise up to 512GB storage.
