Apple's New Spaceship Headquarters in Cupertino (pics)

    Apple, Cupertino, Calif.Rendering of Apple’s new campus in Cupertino, Calif., expected to open                                                                    in 2016.

 The new 2.8-million sq. ft. facility was brought to the Cupertino city council by late CEO Steve Jobs. Its                                                                   diametre is greater than that of the Pentagon.

 The project is meant to incorporate and develop much of the surrounding green space, with a system of bike lanes, bio-fuel buses and its own natural gas-burning power plant.
