How an angry Ghost tormented Marlon Brando

I was shocked to learn recently from a brief article that legendary actor Marlon Brando believed a ghost was haunting him. At the age of 80, Brandon died in July 2004. He claimed that an irate ghost troubled his life a decade before his passing.

Brando had truly developed a paranormal obsession in his earlier years. This wasn’t widely known because Brandon managed to maintain a private existence despite his notoriety, at least until his oldest son Christian killed someone.

After enrolling at the Actors’ Studio, where he discovered the Method Approach, Brando achieved popularity in the 1940s and 1950s. This approach highlights the motives of the characters. After appearing in Tennessee Williams’ drama A Streetcar Named Desire in 1947, he became well-known. He portrayed Stanley Kowalski, a bully who raped his frail sister-in-law Blanche DuBois.

He became a global star in 1954 because to his early cinematic roles in The Wild One and On the Waterfront. As one of Hollywood’s bad boys, he gained notoriety.

His career experienced many highs and lows. When he played Mafia leader Don Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather, he made a triumphant comeback in 1971. But he was unable to get parts because of his chronic weight problem.

Five of Brando’s eleven children were born out of wedlock. He was married three times and had numerous affairs. He had three more through affairs and three from a housekeeper. The oldest Brando child, Christian, got into a confrontation with his half sister’s fiancé, Dag Drollet, in 1991. He believed Cheyenne, who was pregnant, was being abused by Drollet. During this scuffle, he shot Drollet in the face. At the time, Christian was inebriated.

When the fight broke out, Brando, who was present, gave Drollet mouth-to-mouth resuscitation before dialing 911. During his trial, Christian admitted, “I tried to be a good father, I did the best I could.”For manslaughter, Christian was given a ten-year prison term. Five years later, he was freed. In 2005, he was once more in difficulty after being accused of spousal abuse. In 2008, pneumonia was determined to be the cause of his death.

Cheyenne spent years battling a heroin addiction. She has been in and out of mental institutions and drug treatment centers. She experienced a severe depression following Dag’s passing and withdrew from society. The infant was presented to Tarita Teriiparia, the mother.

She committed herself by hanging herself when she was 25 years old in 1995 while spending Easter with her mother. She once claimed to hate her father because he shunned her when she was a child.

Friends and family, including Brando’s former wife Anna Kashfi, said that Brando was traumatized as a result of these two traumatic events. He thought he was plagued by the vengeful ghost of Dag Drollet.

He was lying in his bed when the blankets were brutally pulled from his bed. Additionally, he repeatedly heard a voice whisper, “I should not have died.” It was believed that Brando was terrified by these events.

Cheyenne with Brando

Always intrigued by the supernatural, Brando spent the last few years of his life working on a project centered around the well-known Angel of Mons legend. Here, I provide details about this myth.

He worked together on this project with Tony Kaye, a filmmaker from Hollywood. He thought that Brando would play the lead role in their tale. But before the script was finished, Brando passed away.
