At this price, customers will receive a Core i5-7200U processor, accompanied by 256GB solid state drive, and 8GB of RAM. However, customers will also be able to update their model, but it will cost them more.
We must say that this laptop looks like a device that costs more than 1.000 dollars. This device comes with a body that has 0.7 inches thick, and weighs 3.2 pounds.
This means that the new Acer Swift 3 is not far off from a MacBook Pro 13.
To be added that this laptop has a brushed aluminum material that covers the display lid. Moreover, the lower half of the laptop is made out of metal. These design tweaks give the laptop a more premium feel.
Customers should know that this device is also available in a Gold version, but it is very hard to find besides the company’s own website. To be added that this laptop also has some tough competitors on the market.
For example, Dell’s Inspiron 13 5000 is one of the best out there when it comes to budget-friendly laptops.
But, Dell’s device is available only as a 2-in-1 version.
The new Acer Swift 3 comes with a great selection of ports. So, this laptop is flanked by three USB Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 port, and two USB 3.0 ports. But, the good part is that the company also added a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1 port.
Moreover, customers will receive a full-sized HDMI, an SD card reader, and a combo microphone/headphone jack. There is also a proprietary charger that is used to charge the battery. This means that the USB 3.1 Type-C port was not designed to charge the battery.
In the end, we must say that the new Acer Swift 3 includes wireless connectivity, like Bluetooth 4.0 and 802.11ac.
