AB De Villiers Is The New Captain Of ODI | T20 South Africa

Middle-order batsman AB De Villiers has been appointed South Africa’s ODI and Twenty20 captain, and Gary Kirsten became the new coach of the South Africa team for two years of the contract.

AB De Villiers will replace Smith, who gave up the captaincy after the World Cup 2011. Batsman Hashim Amla has been made vice-captain in both formats.

Former fast bowler Allan Donald is the new bowling coach of South Africa Cricket Team.

South Africa’s new coach Kirsten said in a press conference that”I am very pleased with team’s coach and it is an honor for me. Now it’s my responsibility that I do work to make the players perform the best.”
