Former New Zealand cricket captain Stephen Fleming and Current captain Daniel Vettori has been awarded highest civil honor for their contribution to the New Zealand Cricket Team at the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.
Both players were honoured with Officers of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his contribution to the International cricket.
Fleming where in his captaincy of the national team played in 80 Tests and 218 one-day matches, while the current captain and great spinner Vettori has played 345 Tests and 282 ODIs.
Vettori at the age of 18 started his career in New Zealand Test team and in 2007 replaced Fleming and took the captaincy.
