Captain of India cricket team MS Dhoni is now Lieutenant Colonel Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the Territorial Army
Former Indian cricket team captain Kapil Dev also honorary Lt. Col. rank in 2008. Moreover, the Indian air force has awarded the rank of Group Captain to Sachin Tendulkar.
After gaining respect by Lt Col Dhoni said today it was my dream to be a part of the Indian army on which I’m starting to feel proud, it is difficult to describe in words that I would like to become part of the country’s young army.
Wing Commander Bakshi said Dhoni became the colonel of parachute regiment.
