New Zealand Test squad against South Africa

All-rounder Andrew Ellis and Batsman Rob Nicol have been included in New Zealand’s test squad against South Africa. Nicol and Ellis have both have yet to make a test debut.

Jesse Ryder was ruled out of the squad because of his poor form.

The first Test will be held at University Oval on March 7 in Dunedin.

New Zealand Test Squad: Ross Taylor (captain), Doug Bracewell, Martin Guptill, Brent Arnel, Rob Nicol, Chris Martin, Daniel Vettori, Trent Boult, BJ Watling, Brendon McCullum, Andrew Ellis, Kane Williamson and Tim Southee.
