The 48-Hour Film Project is a venture that invites budding and amateur filmmakers from all over the world to make a short film in less than two days. This film, Speechless, was made by Srikant Kekare and won awards in several categories. It’s about two people who communicate through signs.

This film was made in 48 hours for 48hfp Mumbai 2013 and went on to win 5 awards: Best Direction, Best Actor (male), Best Actor (female), Best Original Music, and 1st Runnerup Best Film. There were 3 elements to be included in each film: the character Shikha Sharma (a fashion designer), the prop backpack, and a dialogue line. That was my dialogue. With these parameters, this film was completed before Sunday, October 20th, 7 p.m.
