Nottinghamshire all-rounder Samit Patel has been included for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan starting from October 13 in the United Arab Emirates.
The 30-year-old will replace uncapped Surrey all-rounder Zafar Ansari, who was unfit for the UAE test match series because of a hand injury.
Patel who made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in 2012 – has scored 109 runs with four wickets in his five Test match career.

The 1st of the three Test matches gets underway on October 13 in Abu Dhabi.
