One of the best gaming laptops on the market is the new Asus ROG G752VT-DH72. With this new laptop, customers will be able to try any new game on the market at high settings and full HD resolution, without any drop or lag.
On the laptop gaming market, there are two categories to choose from. The first category comes with major league PC brands, like Dell/Alienware, Asus or Acer, which have custom-built bodies and attractive design. The second category comes from smaller boutique PC builders, like Velocity Micro and Origin PC, which come with ugly laptop chassis, but with powerful gaming parts.
So, one of the most favorite laptop gaming lines comes from Asus and it is called ROG. Last year, Asus has released the G751, featuring a top-of-the-line Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M graphics card and an incredible design. This year, Asus comes with a new gaming laptop, called G752. This new model suffered a facelift and it was upgraded to Intel’s latest Skylake generation of processors.
Unfortunately, there isn’t any new mobile GPU from Nvidia, meaning that this new laptop has the same 900-series mobile graphics chips.
The new Asus ROG G752VT-DH72 is available at the price of 1,799 US dollars, which is not a very affordable price. At this price configuration, customers will also receive a 128GB SSD/1TB HDD combo, plus 16GB of RAM.
Probably, it is hard to find this configuration in the model internationally, but most likely the differences are not that big. This new laptop also comes with DVD optical drive, which is not as useful as it was before, because a large number of gamers are downloading from online stores, like GOG and Steam.
As for the design, Asus ROG G752VT-DH72 is really attractive, featuring a matte black finish, plus a good-looking palette of brushed aluminum with red/orange lights. However, sci-fi-inspired touches are not missing, for example, there is a carved hieroglyphic line above the keyboard.
Compared with last year’s model, the new G752 is definitely more streamlined and slimmer. This doesn’t mean that it isn’t heavy and big, because it weighs approximately 8.8 ounces.
A great attraction on this laptop is the backlit keyboard and a handful of programmable macro buttons situated above the left side of the keyboard. These macro keys are very useful when it comes to launching apps. Another attractive thing is the Asus ROG Gaming Center app. This application offers a wealth of system information, including GPU and CPU temperatures and frequencies.
To be added that the ROG Gaming Center app also allows users to adjust some audio and display settings and also to control the system lights. Users can make multiple profiles for media playback, extended battery life and gaming.
The powerful Intel Core i7 6700HQ CPU is one of the best out there on the market and it makes a mood team with the 980M graphic card from Nvidia. However, customers who are in search for a more powerful configuration can also opt for more expensive options, which can go up to 2,599 US dollars.
