The Beatles’ Anthology set now available for streaming

SINGAPORE – When The Beatles studio albums and four compilations were finally available for streaming last December, several notable albums were left off the list, including – most notably – The Beatles’ acclaimed three-album Anthology series, volumes 1 to 3.
But from today (April 4) fans can now indulge in the collections, after the albums were made available for

streaming today.
The first album was initially released on CD in 1995 and 450,000 copies of Anthology 1 were sold in its first day of release – the most sales for an album in a single day ever. Anthology 2 and 3 were released the following year.
The three albums were put together as an audio companion to the 1995 Anthology TV documentary series (that was later released on DVD). and offered fans a historic musical documentation of the band’s career in the 1960s.
It included early recordings before the band became famous (such as In Spite Of All The Danger and That’ll Be The Day), as well as live recordings (from The Ed Sullivan Show and the famous Shea Stadium concert), alternate versions and outtakes from the studio recordings; and two “new” songs reworked from John Lennon demos by the suriving Beatles – Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, dubbed “The Threetles” – Free As A Bird and Real Love.
