This man will be broadcasting live from his own grave today.
And you will be able to watch the 61-year-old being buried alive from the comfort of your own home.
John Edwards isn’t just doing this for kicks, the ex drug addict and charity worker is going six feet under to
raise awareness.
During his 20-year addiction, John was made homeless and watched as a number of his friends died from drugs and alcohol.
He was also suicidal, abused and had been admitted in psychiatric hospitals.
So in a bid to warn people of the dangers of drug abuse, he will be lying in his own coffin and talking to people online about his harrowing story.
John will be underground for three days and given all his amenities through a tube (Picture: PA Wire)He said: ‘I have been to so many funerals over the years that I feel desperate to stop others going down the same path.
‘The idea of live streaming was so people could people could hear about my experiences and those of other addicts. I am also hoping that others will share their experiences and what they are going through, so maybe I can help them while I am in the grave.’
Behind the charity Walking Free, The West Yorkshire man works closely with suicidal addicts and their families.
You can watch the live burial today around 8pm (Picture: PA Wire)John is due to start the stream before he is buried at around 8pm today, which will be recorded via a smartphone and GoPro.
But he won’t be in there without the necessities – there will be a pipe for oxygen, another as a toilet and a third to receive clothing food and water.
