Today we are talking about the new LG Watch Sport. This new watch is coming with a high number of features.
We think that people don’t need the entire world on their wrist. But, it seems that manufacturers insist to add more and more features in a small handset.
It seems that LG is continuing the dream of the do-it-all megasmartwatch. The new Watch Sport is one of those examples.
This new watch is an LTE-equipped GPS-enabled and powered by Google’s Android Wear 2.0. It is also one of those watched that receive Google’s new version of its watch software first.
This is a good thing, because there isn’t a high number of watches that will receive this kind of update.
We must say that we can consider the new Watch Sport the flagship watch of this company.
The company has declared that the new watch was “designed with our friends at Google.”

They’re both now available to order through the Google Store .
As for the price, the new LG Watch Sport is available at the cost of 350 dollars, which is the same price as the LTE and GPS-enabled Samsung Gear S3. So, this means that LG will have a tough competitor on the market, because Samsung’ watch is considered to be the star.
However, the new LG Watch Sport has the same exact features as the Samsung Gear S3, which means that it will be an interesting battle.
But, there is a huge difference between LG’s and Samsung’s watch. We must add that the Gear S3 runs the company’s own separate app store, while LG’s watch runs on Android 2.0 and uses Google Play apps.
The new LG Watch Sport runs perfectly paired with a Google Pixel XL.
But, this watch can also run on its own with AT&T service on its included LTE SIM card and antenna. We must say that this watch is considered to be one of the few rare smart watches on the market that is also a stand-alone phone.
However, the new LG Watch Sport is also trying to be a good fitness watch, thanks to its onboard GPS. There is no secret that LG’s watch is really big. It comes with a chunky design, which is bigger compared with its main competitor, the Gear S3.
It has a fixed rubberized wristband that is designed in a permacurve, which feels pretty large around the wrist. Unfortunately, this rubber wristband is not swappable, which means that people are stuck with it.
Moreover, the watch comes in blue or titanium-style gray, which are attractive colors.
Without a doubt that LG Watch Sport’s new design is for runners and for people who are in search for a stand-alone watch for outdoors use.
As we mentioned, this new watch comes with Bluetooth for playing store music on the watch, GPS, and built-in LTE. All these features are sucking up the battery life.
Without a doubt that if people will use this watch an entire day, the battery will not resist more than a day. Of course, they can also tweak the settings and get rid of the always-on display mode and LTE, but the battery will not go more than two days maximum.
