After abruptly dropping out as director of the solo Batman film on the finish of January, new reviews have emerged that recommend Ben Affleck desires to give up the Batman enterprise altogether.

Ever since Warner Bros. has been searching for directors, and now according to Variety, they’ve landed on War for the Planet of the Apes helmer Matt Reeves. Variety reports that Reeves was always high on the list, but THR also added that the studio was also looking at Ridley Scott and Fede Alvarez to helm the movie as well.
