Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, who is awaiting the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus – Padmaavat (erstwhile Padmavati), recently turned a rowdy cop on Mumbai streets. Reportedly, Deepika was shooting for a television commercial when she was clicked atop a jeep in a police officer’s uniform.
Pictures from the shoot are going viral online. Deepika wears a white shirt, khaki trousers and a khaki cap in the pictures. Interestingly, she also has a red handkerchief tied around her left wrist – something we have seen ‘tapori cops’ doing in our films and TV serials. She is also seen wearing gold-rimmed shades in the pictures.
