By now many thought the controversy surrounding Ebony’s death would have ended but from the looks, it seems it is even about to start.
Nana Poku Kwarteng, the father of the late dancehall artiste in a recent interview is reported to have said that Bullet gave him only Gh2000 out of the Gh39,999 cash he made from his daughter‘s tribute concert which happened months back. This allegation has angered George Mensah Britton who claims he was contacted to work with the late musician before she passed on.
According to Mr. Mensah, Ebony’s dad has made about Gh700, 000 from the daughter‘s death so it baffles him to hear him make public comments that Bullet and his Ruff Town Records team have cheated him.
Aside from mentioning that Mr. Kwarteng made about GH700,000 in the facebook posts Zionfelix.net chanced on, the current manager for music duo, Keche added that Nana Poku was given Gh45 000 from the digital sales of the deceased songs three weeks ago.
“Ebony’s dad should stop before we release fyllas….who gave him the $9,300 3 weeks ago as Ebony’s digital sales? Why is he not talking about that? Why is he being so greedy?
If Bullet no go talk, me I go talk. U’ve made over Ghc700K n u r still talking… if u don’t want ur daughter to Rest In Peace. We too we no go make rest. What kinda man r u?” George Mensah Britton posted on Facebook.
Real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, the ‘Poison’ hitmaker died on February 8, 2018, in a fatal accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road with two others after a family visit in Sunyani.
