Colombia: news began going around mass media and social network last week saying that neighbors from Obando Valles had found the body of an alien.
The neighbors described it as follows: “the creature has one eye in the middle of its head as if it were a Martian; it also has an antenna, the head of a child, elephant trunk and the body of a pig”.
The neighbors found the creature around 2:00 am and saw how it tried to walk and fell down making strange sounds and approximately 15 minutes later, it died.
It is not unusual that people who don´t have any specializes knowledge on this matter surprise themselves when they see such a creature, and then begin to search for explanations and compare it to an alien, a monster, or the famous chupacabras.
What shouldn´t happen is that mass media, ufologists and so called investigators disseminate this information as something out of this world, making us all a little bit more ignorant.
