Dog owner Sean Farrell loves his buddy Buster so much, he thought it should get his own place. After browsing the internet for some inspiration, he decided to give up a corner in his home and build Buster a “boudoir.” Despite having “absolutely no experience in carpentry and making this like this,” it turned out absolutely pawesome.
“I just sort of winged it!” Sean wrote. “[The] total cost was around £80-£100 ($104-$131).”
Sean has been updating Buster’s Facebook page with pics of the multi-day project, and his fans were loving it.
“‘Imagine being a monkey’ on the front is the first line from a lullaby I sing to him when he’s having bad dreams.”
“Aside from the fun element, it does have a bit of reasoning behind it,” Sean continued. “Buster is still very unsure about being alone in a room with me. And he always likes to be upstairs when I’m downstairs. I’ve built this so he has his own safe place as we work on his trust issues together.”
“I’ll never fuss of play with him when he’s in there as I want him to feel it’s his own little corner,” the owner said. “But if he wanders on to my turf he’s in tug o war hell.”
