Bharat Tex – 2024 draws inspiration from Prime Minister Modi’s 5F Vision, focusing on a unified journey “from farm to foreign via fibre, fabric, and fashion.” The Prime Minister’s Office, in a statement released on Sunday, highlighted the comprehensive coverage of the entire textiles value chain.

Organized by a consortium of 11 Textile Export Promotion Councils and backed by the Central government, Bharat Tex – 2024 is built on the twin pillars of trade and investment, with a pervasive emphasis on sustainability, according to the statement.
Over the four-day span, Bharat Tex – 2024 is set to host more than 65 knowledge sessions, featuring over 100 global panelists delving into various pertinent issues within the sector. The event will also boast dedicated pavilions focusing on sustainability and circularity, an ‘Indi Haat,’ fashion presentations covering diverse themes such as Indian Textiles Heritage, sustainability, and global designs. Additionally, interactive fabric testing zones and product demonstrations will engage participants.
Anticipating widespread participation, the event expects policymakers and global CEOs, more than 3,500 exhibitors, over 3,000 buyers from 100 countries, and over 40,000 business visitors. Notably, it will also attract textiles students, weavers, artisans, and textile workers.
