nYashodhara Rajenwas born in 1954 in the Royal Scindia family of Gwalior. Her father JivajiraonScindia was the ruler of Gwalior princely state. Her mother Rajmata VijayaRajenScindia was a prominent Jan Sangh and then founding member of the BJP. However,nher brother late Madhao Rao Scindia decided to be with Congress because of hisnclose relationship with Sanjay and Rajiv Gandhi. It is also said that keepingnone member in Congress was a game plan of the royal family to keep good relationshipnwith the Indian Government.

nYashodhara RajenScindia started her education from Mumbai and later went to Karaikal. She wasnshifted to Gwalior to complete her education from Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya whichnwas started by her mother.

nIt should alsonbe mentioned here that Abishek Bhansali was sentenced for four years in 2011nwhen he was found guilty of negligent homicide. He was completely drunk andndriving the car. An accident happened in which a person was killed. Yashodharanwent to the USA for the case and remained with family for few months. It isnalso said that the then Manmohan Singh government helped the family in makingnsure that Abhishek is charged with negligent homicide from vehicular homicide. Thatnis how he was sentenced for only 4 years.
