Ishita Kishore has achieved a remarkable feat by securing first rank in the UPSC CSE. She is a Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and has worked two years with Earnst and Young.
The result of Ishita has again rekindled the debate of caste in the UPSC result. Surprisingly, this year Upper Caste candidates have done wonderful, at least in top 100 ranks.
People are wondering about her caste as her surname doesn’t indicate anything.

Ishita is a Dalit by caste. She is from Bihar. Her parents are from Patna. She was born in Hyderabad. Her father Mr. Kishore is a retired Indian Airforce Officer.
Ishita has done schooling and graduation from Delhi. After retirement, her father had bought a flat in Greater NOIDA and she has been settled there.
Ishita is a Dalit and she is not originally from UP or NCR. She is a Bihari girl.
