According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala is free to leave the club after been told he is longer needed by the club.
The 28-year-old was once City’s most expensive defender in British history when he joined from Porto for £42m in 2014 but over the years, the defender have struggled to get Manchester City first team talk more of Pep Guardiola’s star studded team.
He is now free to leave the club with or without a transfer fee to any club of his choice.
To make matters worse, the French international was omitted from City’s pre-season tour to Asia which starts on Wednesday against West Ham.
