Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is not so sure if any more players will be arrivign this summer.
City have signed just two talented players capable of breaking into the first team. Rodri joined hte club in a €60m deal followed by Angelino who rejoined the club from PSV after his €12m buy back clause was activated.
Although, City short in defense and are yet to find another world class centre back to replace their departed captain Vincent Kompany.
City currently have three defenders in their ranks; John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Nicolas Otamendi while Eliaqium Mangala have been told to leave for free.
Pep Guardiola was asked during his press conference if more players will be joining the club and he had this to say:
“We are so happy with the squad we have”, Guardiola told reporters.
“I don’t know if the players here will stay or if new players will come. But every time since i came here i am delighted with the players we have”.
Asked if the club will find a replacement for Vincent Kompany, he added:
“Well there’s a chance but i don’t know if it will be possible. We have three incredible central defenders and Fernandinho can play in that position”.
