Barcelona star Antoine Griezmann is backing Liverpool to finally end their 30-year wait to win a league title.
Since the English top league was remolded to the Premier League in 1992, forty nine clubs have competed for the league title and only six have succeeded in winning it.
Manchester United {13}, Chelsea {5}, Manchester City {4}, Arsenal {3}, Blackburn Rovers {1} and Leicester City {1}.
Liverpool are yet to win it since 1990 {their last league win} but Antoine Griezmann is hoping the club finally end that hoodoo this season.
Asked why he wants the 6 times European Champions to win it, he replied:
“In terms of teams i admire, i admire Liverpool because of the fans. Hopefully, one day they will win the league again”.
Griezmann recently completed a £107m move from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona.
