Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has dismissed the assertion that he has to spend heavily to improve his star studded team.
Last season for Liverpool was a success in everybody’s book, the Reds finished second behind Manchester City with 97 points before going on to lift their sixth Champions League trophy.
That incredible success have seen them linked to almost all the best players in Europe this summer but Klopp is in no rush to sign anyhow and feels his team is already good enough to fight for trophies next season.
Asked if Liverpool are doing with signing players this summer, Klopp replied;
“I said last year that to improve the team is not easy with reasonable money”, Klopp told LFC TV.
“With crazy money, you always can do it- okay, you pay whatever you want, then it’s possible. We are not a club like that. We cannot do that. We are really wealthy but we cannot do what some other teams are doing. That’s how it is.
“But we don’t have to. We have to find solutions during hte season. Yes, you find sometimes the solution in the transfer market and we have done that. I don’t have to name the players, everybody knows.
“But otherwise you have to find the solutions on the training ground and that’ what we do now”.
Liverpool are currently searching for another striker, an attacking midfielder and a left back.
